PlayStation Network had a bit of a rough patch on Tuesday night. For about 45 minutes, Sony’s PlayStation Network status page showed that all of its services were experiencing problems in some way, affecting things like logging in to your account and connecting to PlayStation Now and the PlayStation Store. Now, however, the site shows that everything is “up and running”.
It is not clear exactly how common the problems are. I personally managed to connect online Blood transported and sent a message to a colleague, but the PS5 PlayStation Store had trouble loading a lot of content. Some others had more serious problems connecting online, including “error code WS-37469-9”, as shown in this topic on r / PS5 subreddit. Downdetector shows that there are more than 12,000 user problem reports.
Epic games tweets and during a break, pointing Fortnite PlayStation players who may have had trouble logging in to view Sony’s PlayStation Network status site. To my surprise, I managed to get into Fortnite and enter the match even after forcibly leaving the app and restarting, so the problems don’t seem to affect everyone.
Updated April 12, 7:53 PM ET: Sony says its services are online again.
