Oppo has released official photos of its latest flagship phone, which will be part of the Find X5 series. The company published photos of black and white versions of the device, along with details of its launch, which will take place at 6 am ET on February 24, just before the Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona.
The Find X5 Pro is now widely available, with Hasselblad’s partnership and brand revealed in a practical photo last month. Oppo formally partnered with Hasselblad earlier this week, following last year’s collaboration between the camera company and the Oppo OnePlus subbrand.
Oppo says the Find X5 Pro has an “advanced camera like no other” and a “futuristic flagship design” made from “beautifully unique ceramic material”. Leaving aside the partnership with Hasselblad, the unusually shaped camera pad says “Powered by MariSilicon”, which is a reference to MariSilicon X, Oppo’s newly developed internal neural processing device. The company claims that it “overcomes the biggest challenge for video recording with a smartphone – night recording.”
Oppo also confirmed in a press release that the Find X5 Pro will use Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. For more official information on other phone specs and features, however, we’ll have to wait until the launch of the 24 February.
